Look! Room to Grow Cardboard Furniture
Victoria

080508Grow01.jpgWe’ve seen a couple of different cardboard furniture post recently but the Room To Grow range really caught our eye. All their products are made from at least 70% recycled paper and are 100% recyclable. Their items are all assembled without any tools but…

080508Grow02.jpg...their clever design means that there are no exposed cardboard edges even though they are all folded together. The cardboard is also moisture resistant and from what we could find they are all reasonably priced between $29 and $85. To see more designs and where to purchase see the Room to Grow website.

It's not a big step down from particle board, I suppose, but I'd still be worried about how they wear, particularly the shelves that are going to take some weight. they look nice though.

i had a cardboard 3 drawer thing(?) similar to this way back when i was in HS... i think it came from the dollar store or maybe kmart - it actually held up very well, but all i used it for was socks and the like

this stuff looks way better though, not from the dollar store :)

Reminds me of the cheap cardboard drawers that dimestores sold back in the 50's and 60's.

IMO - Save your money and get real furniture.

Not bad for a dorm or other temporary place.
