We've just been perusing some of the rooms over at Normal Room, and stumbled across this great DIY idea from So Sylvie: creating a fabric wall hanging with a shoji screen, batting, and an embroidered shower curtain.

We're so accustomed to seeing wall hanging kits stretched on canvas stretcher frames, so the added padding from the batting is a nice touch. Another tip from Sylvie: "Shower curtains are great for larger projects as they usually come in a 60" size."

What a great idea! Now I'm thinking about taking my embroidered shower curtain that I love and hanging it up on one of my walls!
