We've been traveling all over the place this summer and with airlines now charging to check baggage, we decided to check out alternatives to forking over the extra dough. We found these cute travel bottles to get our liquids there safely. It boasts a leak-proof top with material that is medical silicone which means the pair is dishwasher safe.

I've been using these for a couple years now and absolutely LOVE them. I just wish they had some for more watery liquids like contact solution, etc... As a side note, they're cheaper direct from the manufacturer. http://www.pkohnyc.com

$20 for a 2 pack, seems a bit outrageous for 2 oz bottles to me...

Great idea. Kinda expensive. Also you wont be getting those on in your carryon unless it is clearly marked that those are 2 oz bottles.

I've used them in my carry-on on many many occasions and never had an issue. No one has even questioned them.

It makes more sense to simply use travel-sized toiletries and just leave the bottles wherever you are before flying home.
