Look! SMYCKA Twig garden gate

Branch out! IkeaHacker featured this fun DIY garden gate idea that one of their readers did using decorative SMYCKA twigs from Ikea. He simply built a frame and inlaid mulitple layers of twigs for a very modern organic look.

We're not sure this would function so well on a wider gate (the one shown was very narrow at just under two feet) but the concept is fun and we're wondering what else you could apply it to? Maybe a room divider? What do you guys think? See more details on how this was done at IkeaHacker.

...people will actually pay 15 bucks for a bundle of sticks from Ikea?

Love it! The comments above remind me of the time I tried to create a bamboo wall in my bathroom from my brother's backyard bamboo forest, and the room was taken over by ants.
