Look! The Big Outdoors In A Tiny Space

041709-forest2.jpgYou know how we've been talking a lot about outdoor spaces lately? And how inspired we were by a recent camping trip? Seems all our attention is on getting outside into nature. But what about going inside for nature? Jump below to see a completely different take on the modern woodland trend along with a before picture:

Recently artists Christy McCaffrey and Sara Newey installed a forest inside the small space at Machine Project complete with lighting and sound design to simulate the feeling of being in the great outdoors while actually being in the small indoors. The forest is only 'live' for the month of April and so far they've hosted all kinds of forest related evenings: screenings of The Lost Boys and Twilight, ghost stories, moonlit poetry readings and a presentation on bigfoot. The gallery space is limited and the forest will only be up another 10 days, so take advantage of it while you can and check out one of the many forest related activities they have planned.
