The actual name of the fabric is called Golden Sunburst which was created by the design duo of Hutton Wilkinson and Tony Duquette for Jim Thompson Designs. We love the production team's choice of this throw-back to Mid-Century Modern (which our Apartment Therapy readers are sure to identify with). We think it's great that Mr. O'Brien's team chose to recognize the decorating style that Southern Californian's identify so closely with. If you have to have your own Golden Sunburst fabric in your home, it's also available in six alternate color combos.

Conan's previous set in New York was full of retro goodness, so I think this is just a carry over of that rather than being an attempt to recognize a style familiar to so many Californians. Still awesome, though!

Call me crazy - but that fabric doesn't look so much MCM to me as it does 1930's/40's: Think Rainbow Room at Rock Center...

Conan's show is visually so much classier then the other talk shows. Jay's set looked like he was broadcasting from the back alley, unfortunately. I hope he brings that same class to his new LA show.
