I was going to vote for the green one with the plastic covering, but when I looked at this one, I immediately felt my stomach turn and go all queasy. Still there.

For the full visual affect, one def. needs to see in person as it's a multiple sensory violator! Balled up material that feels like a burlap sack and cushions that are as flat as pancakes. Why do I have this? I have been begging my husband to get rid of it over the years...

Alas, this contest came along and I struck while the iron was hot. It's my hope that I can once and for all get rid of this beast!

Sorry Diane...the one on the bottom left already got my vote. With the frame, pillows, and naked cushions, it was sporting 3 different looks. I think yours was among the "best of the worst" and I can't pity your ugly couch when I currently have no couch! I currently have a massive (but oh-so-comfy) loveseat-sized chaise that I bought for my bedroom when I was 18 and still lived with mommy, and fiance has an Ikea armchair from Craigslist. It was supposed to be temporary, but it's been almost 6 months since we moved into our own apartment and we still have no couch! Best of luck with your situation though!

when i was growing up...our family had a couch very similar to these ones...i didn't know it was ugly back then...and what a good neighborhood we were in too...

ahhh...the design aesthetics of it all....

Here is irony for you: We bought THIS COUCH (exact craigslist picture) less than a month ago! lol! Yes, we actually paid money for this. Ten bucks. (We needed something cheap for our dogs to relax on in the basement while we're out & they'd prefer a couch over a dog bed any day.) Anyway, the contest is hosted by a slipcover company! I wonder if that makeover includes a slipcover to hide that Ugly Couch... if so, can we have it?
