Look! Tile Inspired Doormat on Clearance at Target

090808_tile.jpgWe featured this doormat about a year ago to rave reviews from readers. It's now on sale for a whopping $6.98. Check out some of the other Target finds we saw over the weekend:

090808_bamboo.jpg Series of Bamboo Containers, great for a desk, the kitchen or in the bathroom. These were on clearance for $9.

090808_cat.jpgThe Cat Chaise is surprisingly modern and cheap considering the high end equivalents for something your cat will ruin. These run about $25, If we're remembering correctly.

090808_binder.jpgAnd a fun, cheery notebook that's ecofriendly for going back to school. We keep tear sheets of our favorite interiors and recipes in 3 ring binders and these are way nicer than the ones from Staples. $5.99 each.

I bought the cat chaise for my two monsters with no expectation of them choosing it rather than my new sofa. But they proved me wrong. They absolutely love it!

does anyone know when/why the john derian stuff hasn't been on their website yet?

Chic! I wish Montreal had a Target. Or a West Elm. Or a Crate & Barrel. Or a Pottery Barn...

they don't usually put it up right away for featured designers. they roll it out at store level first.

I bought that doormat and loved it. But it faded into a plain one in less than a month. It's still a nice doormat and a great price. We've been using it for over a year and it still wipes our feet well. However, if I make it over to target soon I might buy another one. Just consider it like cut flowers though, not a permanent design feature.

Hi, the john derian items will not be listed on the website until next week. i was just at target and purchased some items, but our target had only a very small sample of what is being offered.

I stopped by the Target near my paren't house yesterday and there was no John Derian to be found. I can only imagine the level of miscommunication that happens between marketing and operations.

Just seconding the love of the Cat Chaise. One of my cats loves it - every time that she greets us at the door, she then runs to the Chaise to scratch. Well worth the $25 (?).

Another recommendation for the cat Chaise, especially since we've seen (albeit larger) similar versions for sale for much more. My cat loves to sleep on--and scratch--it. It has lasted several months, but the ends do wear out first of course.

I have the tile-inspired doormat pictured up top, but mine is a turquoise damask print! I loved the look of it. However, it SHEDS like crazy and after a couple of months of being outside, the color has totally faded. I guess you get what you pay for?

I have the turquoise doormat as well and fading is a major issue, but the price is right from Target and I do not feel guilty replacing.

Bought and returned those doormats. Was hoping for a outdoor FLOR tile-like look, but they were not uniform in size, faded, warped in strange ways and shed.
