Look! Victoria's Springtime Graduate Bedroom

AT:LA reader Victoria shared with us some pics of her bedroom. She's a recent graduate now living and working in Los Angeles. She moved up from a cramped, university apartment to a "wonderfully well-lit, hardwood floored 3-bedroom unit in a duplex." Best part is, she doesn't have to share her bedroom with a roomate!...

She explains, "I've a penchant for vibrant colors and patterns, photographs, found knick knacks, and wood furnishings. Everything in my room inspires or comforts. On the wall above my bed is a letter-pressed poppy print by Jill Bliss, a screenprinted Feist poster by Large Mammal Print, as well as a photographed flower by my boyfriend Scott. The quilt is from Urban Outfitters, a few summers back. All the yellow-ness makes it feel like it's spring all-year."

"Each morning as I ready for work I'm greeted by the photobooth faces on my mirror and the macro poppies, which are decals from Ikea that were given to me by a friend. I love that it makes me feel like a tiny creature in my own bedroom! The Bengt Ek Design clock says "it's 8:40am and you still haven't left for work???!" This clock was another Ebay steal, as I discovered later on that Unica was selling it for $97... eek!020807saturn02.jpg

We congratulate Victoria on creating her own space that is both warm and comforting, and is full of her personality. (and we love that she sent in polaroids! fun!) Do you love your bedroom too? Care to share? Send us a pic or tag your flickr photos with "apartmenttherapyla."

Sweet! I think I see my phooto from Short Stop. I like how everything, especially on the walls, looks like it would never be the same if it weren't in that spot. Bravo!
