Walking down our quaint little street, we noticed these decorative window bars. Apartment Therapy is no freshmen when it comes to this topic as written about here and here.

The neat quality that sets these window treatments apart is their organic form. Most decorative bars on windows usually end up still looking like iron. What we liked about this design in particular is the living feeling that the bars give off--a look hard to fake with iron, especially when they're being used for security purposes.
Love this.

This is a unique window treatment. The hand-crafted detail is quite beautiful. After reading the comments on these blogs I have come to the conclusion that some people are just looking for mistakes so they can shred someone else via computer.

I'm sorry. My comment was a little fun poking at the constant use of "we" at this blog. I also notice that very few times does the blogger and their multiple identity check back on the comments in their posts, whether to participate in the discussion they generated or to make obvious spelling and grammar corrections that are sometimes pointed out to them. They're writers, c'mon.
My honest reaction to this designed is that it looks hostile. Sure that's what you want, even for bars over windows? From the inside, all rust and jagged points, it must look wholly theatrical and punishing, compared to just regular bars. I admire whatever inspiration and craftsmanship or artisanry or talent or whatever you want to call it that it takes to meander away from the usual forms and reinvent in the abstract, but sometimes it makes an unwitting statement about the artist or the person who buys the item to put on their home as a decorative functional piece. I tried to put a lot of thought into my analysis, here; I hope you appreciated it.
