apartment therapy changing the world, one room at a time

Skyline isn't so great, but the view from my balcony in Silverlake was amazing yesterday--to the north is the Hollywood sign and Griffith Park observatory, to the west is Santa Monica and Malibu, and the clouds made an already great view even more dramatic.

Lovely! We've had some crazy beautiful puffy pink and white clouds up here, too.

This picture reminds me of something I read recently (of course I can not remember where) that Los Angeles has a skyline that "no matter how hard it tries, refuses to become iconic."
