Look!:Union Station

Last week we did something that we have never done in LA before. We took public transport. To us, the two very separate bus systems are the stupidest (and most confusing) thing ever, but when we finally pulled into the Union Station- wow. That space is to die for.

I love Union Station! I keep meaning to grab a drink in the gorgeous bar in the waiting room.

As a former New Yorker I really miss taking public transportation to work. I managed to pull it off for my first four years in LA but I'm now a 15 minute drive from my new job, while getting there on pub trans would involve two buses and take 45 minutes.

Alec: You have to go back to Union Station for dinner at Traxx when you are planning your next urban excursion. It's really cool to have dinner there inside the station. Also, the adjacent Traxx Bar is cool place to pick a quick libation.
