A true backyard retreat. That's what this small tool shed sized Zen Tea House created by Sutton Beres Culler is. This weekend we watched Armando Montelongo on Flip This House fame build his son a strangely effeminately painted club house, which was really just a fancied up, standard storage unit. But this tea house, with its varying coloured wood stripes, butterfly rooftop garden and inviting tea table is anything but standard in every way. It's only too bad our apartment's backyard is anything by a zen garden (it's more like a trash depository). [via Lotus Haus]
