Personally, the mosaic design on the table above isn't really doing it for us. But we love the idea of combining a modernist shape with the tactile mosaic tile finish. And we could imagine with some grid paper (or better yet, a digital illustration program), inlay mosaic tiles, a similarly shaped table and a steady hand, you could customize your own table into a unique personalized addition to the home. Perhaps using temporary adhesive on the back of the tiles, the design could be changed regularly according to your own whim and patience?

With my nerdy video game industry background, I think I'd create a whole 2D pixel perfect rendition of a Super Mario Bros. world level for a gaming room. Oh wait, WoodPixel had a similar idea.
