Out of Bounds: Whimsical Butterfly Stickers

091808_butterfly.jpgThis seems like a really neat idea for a kids room: take a few wall stickers or decals, place them on a wardrobe and extend it out to the wall and even the picture frames. If you're especially crafty, you could take it a step farther and make a hanging mobile above the bed or crib...!

Does anyone know where you can purchase these? I have been trying to find red decals to duplicate a wallpaper that I love, but is a bit too pricey for me.

I think Ikea should re-design the Malm bed to something more like the bed in the photo - call it Malm 2.0. I have the Malm king and I love it, but maybe some refreshening is in order.

I agree w/ you to an extent - keep the nightstand drawers but delete the relatively useless shelf on the back panel...

Wall stickers are a great idea for a kids (kids' or kid's?) bedroom. Got it. I love all these new ideas.

If you're interested in wall decals, I wanted to suggest that you look into having them made at a sign shop. I haven't priced it myself, but they should charge by the square foot. So aside from being able to create decals of your own design and being able to specify the color, you can also place the decals close together in your document/design file to maximize what you're getting out of the sqaure footage you're paying for.
