It might be worth your while to head on over to the Pacific Design Center to get a first hand look at the 20’x24’ Pocket FlatPak home, designed by Blu Dot Furniture founder, Charlie Lazor. The mini version of the FlatPak home (shown above) is part of the SOME ASSEMBLY REQUIRED exhibition, sponsored by MOCA, the Walker Art Center, and Interface FLOR. I am a fan of the FlatPak, and it's a great start. I just hope that they are able to make the FlatPak more affordable and accessible to the masses. At the moment, the cost is rather prohibative.
