One of our favourite print magazines is making a notable transition to the online world: ReadyMade magazine is now offering complete issues with embedded web links, fast page loading, and search options which makes the issue reading experience pretty darn good. An appropriately themed ReadyMade Green Design issue inaugurates the new option. A few more images below the jump...
Looks like this first issue is absolutely free, but it seems implied additional issues may be subscribers only. ReadyMade is also complimenting their online launch with this offer:
Thanks to clothing company Nau, whenever you encourage a friend, relative, or acquaintance to read a paperless issue of ReadyMade, a donation will be made to the Offset portfolio of Nau’s partner organization, Climate Trust. Instant gratification and long-term environmental health: all in one pixelated version of your favorite magazine. For more information on how to offset your energy use, click here.
Check out their first online issues here.
Thank you for the heads up!

The digital issue looks really good but I have to admit that I prefer old-fashioned printed magazines. I only subscribe to 4 magazines right now (Atomic Ranch, Bust, Bark and Vanity Fair) and I love being able to read them while lounging on the sofa, in bed, on the patio or in the bathroom--yes, I'm one of those bathroom readers!
If I had a laptop perhaps I could enjoy digital publications a bit more but for now I prefer to have my fav magazines in-hand and on my coffee table for my friends to enjoy as well.
