Seatbelts Save Furniture, Not Just Lives

atla-090208-seatbelt01.jpgLast night, we caught up on our Project Runway. The challenge we'd missed invited the designers to create a garment from the car parts normally used to craft Saturn automobiles. Like many of the designers, we've always had an affinity for seat belts. Not only do they save lives but we love their shiny, slippery texture. So, we decided to round up furniture that used them...

I bought some car seat fabric at a discount outo fabric store and covered a head board with it. Looks rich and will hold up very well and easy to dust with a vacuum cleaner.
