I love the top two monochromatic fabrics in the last photo.

I'm diggin that single basin sink. That with a wood finish on the cabinet would be perfect for my bathroom.

This just makes me wanna mysteriously win the lottery (since I don't play) and have boat loads of money so I can redo my whole apartment. Oh, so jealous.

Whoa! I used to have a NYC apartment with that 60s-era pink tile in the bathroom, but it never looked that good.

bathroom line looks great. I was this close to buying a knock off lacava vessel sink...I may hold off and see in person what Ikea has to offer.

I am not impressed by the light pendants however. I really dislike the cone shape covers...it looks very cheap and awkward.

good for them for expanding baby line. I am no where near needing those items though ;)

I like the bathroom stuff. I've been drooling over their teak stuff for a while, but my bathroom is too tiny for any of it. Love the fabrics.

Oooh, do we know when this comes out? I keep seeing previews of the new PS line on home sites, and theoretically it's due out in "February," which means...?

The New IKEA PS will not be sold in the US until August 09 and only selected stores will carry the PS line.

I too like the bathroom line as well from what I can see and I do like what they have to offer in the kitchen line too.

As for the PS line, I "think" the Seattle IKEA is one store that carries it, or did anyway.

My last IKEA purchase was a citrus zester and a set of their POEM flatware. Will get another 4 place setting of that soon and so far I love it.

i bought some of that top new fabric the other day. it's one big design and it's so cool looking, i'm going to make a stretcher frame for it and hang it as art.

There's the Ingolf child's tall chair! I have been searching for this since Oct 2007, since I glimpsed it in the 2008 catalog, page 80. Always, no luck in the US. So I ended up snagging a cute old maple tall chair from a salvage store (for $5!) shortening the legs and painting it.

That Ingolf tall chair still has a ton of appeal, though, just right for agile preshoolers. And maybe my tiny Grandma.

I have heard the children's furniture goes out of stock fast, so if you like it, grab it when you see it.

Some amazing bathroom design ideas in here that have inspired me to transform my own bathroom. I found another great website with some lovely bathroom designs at http://www.onlinebathrooms.com

My 2009 Ikea catalog is already shredded with tons of missing pages....so many great ideas for my new home. I can't wait to actually purchase the items and use them. Thank you, Ikea, for making great design affordable!

So, not to be an IKEA snob, or anything, but it's actually the 2010 catalogue you're looking at. Their fiscal year runs August to July, making this past year's catalog the 09, and this year (August) will be the start of Fiscal Year 2010 (FY10).

PS will only be available in some stores in Canada, starting in August as well.

I'm thrilled to see the new stuff coming about, since this is the first year in a long time I haven't work for them (and therefore don't have access to internal files, just friends!)
