Sweet Tooth: Macarooms?

Mmmm...since we missed le Jour de Macaron (Macaron Day) last Friday, we made it over to Euro Pane this morning for a belated celebration of sea salt and caramel macarons (so good). Since we had this delectable pastry on the brain, we've matched up a few pastel-hued rooms with some fantastic macaron recipes from one of our favorite food blogs, Tartelette. Check out a few of our pairings in beautiful springtime color palettes after the jump...

One glamorous black and white bathroom paired with a Black Tux macaron

A peaceful living room with a solid foundation in white, beige, and walnut is given a boost of personality with vibrant greens thanks to a few throw pillows and hardy plants. What better to pair it with than a pistachio macaron with chocolate ganache filling with a touch of ground ginger?

We've always had a soft spot for this shade of raspberry pink...it's a versatile hue that can be playful or sophisticated depending on how you use it. In this hallway, it's a great backdrop to a funky, eclectic space. Plus, we have to say that Helen's recipe for these red berry macarons is our absolute favorite.

Le sigh...remember this couch? It's been over a year since we posted it, and we still can't let go of that beautiful shade of turquoise in velvet. When we saw these gorgeous swirly macarons, we knew we had a perfectly matched pair.
