Target has been quietly adding some unique and sometimes offbeat products to a special online shop they're calling the Red Hot Shop. It's a curated group of products that gets updated each month. Their selection is spot on and more in line with what you'd expect to find at a local boutique than at Target. Here are our picks for December:

the red hot shop has been around for years...

I'm not surprised that a lot of your picks would happen to be items that have been featured on AT before, sometimes multiple times.

wow, never knew about this. A few things I want to purchase, and 30% off doesn't hurt at all...

I love the mustache keyholder, but not for that price.
But it's definitely cute! Especially because (for me at least) it's not immediately identifiable as a mustache.

um why aren't any of these items on the red hot page for Dec 2008?

I love it, but it's a little weird that it's all "sold out." Especially since Target is a ginormous chain store.

That's sort of what is meant by "limited edition". Even though they are a "ginormous chain store" and usually have "millions" of each item in stock, these are "limited edition" meaning that they don't, in fact, have "millions" of each item in stock and will, most likely, sell out of each item, thus further enhancing their "specialness".

Anyone else getting a little tired of Orla Kiely? She's everywhere, it seems.
