BusinessWeek Online posted a recent Mercer study listing the "The World's Most Livable Cities", according to such factors as schooling, quality housing, health care, recreational amenities, and environment. And where did Los Angeles rank? Number 55, behind 29th placed San Francisco, 44th ranked Chicago, and 48th placed New York City, when pitted against the rest of the Apartment Therapy family. It says a lot when an American city doesn't even get on the list until slot 27 and then it's Honolulu, and the next American city is San Francisco, which is, of course, the capital of decadent godlessness.

I don't know, IMHO Zurich and Geneva are the two most boring cities in the world... I suppose if you are half-dead and just crave peace and quiet they would be the place to go.
