Not a sports fan? Perhaps you should reconsider. Several very lucky H.D. Buttercup customers were the recipients of $2000+ in furniture thanks to a UCLA vs. USC pre-game promotion. You see, H.D. Buttercups CFO and USC alumnus Pej Sabet put his money where his mouth was by advertising that the store would refund the purchase of $2000 or more made before the game if the Bruins beat their cross town rivals, the Trojans. And of course, to the joy of Bruins fans and H.D. Buttercup customers alike, the mighty Trojans fell to the stifling defense of the underdog UCLA team Saturday afternoon.
