apartment therapy changing the world, one room at a time

I know you have mentioned Galerie Sommerlath's and French 50-60's on your site before - a great place for mid-century modern furniture. But now they have just opened a large warehouse store that is only open on Saturdays. (I was informed of this while browsing at the Venice Blvd. store.) It is at 4321 Jefferson, near La Brea, and slightly tricky to find. I checked it out this Saturday and found a lovely airy space filled with a great assortment of vintage modern pieces - most very attractively restored.

They are not inexpensive, but not totally outrageous either - for the unique pieces they feature. I spoke with Patrick, who seemed to be managing the place, and he was quite helpful and friendly (as well as cute!) When I took a photo with my phone (intending to share with fellow AT readers) he offered to email me some photos - which I will forward. Definitely worth a visit!
