Outdoor Living On The AIA/LA Fall Home Tour

We had the pleasure of attending AIA/LA's Fall Home Tour this weekend in the coastal town of Manhattan Beach. The four featured homes were modern in style and built using many green materials, making the most of the creative concept of green living. Our favorite theme in each home?

The use of outdoor space to truly create outdoor rooms as a seamless extension of the homes. Most of the homes used scale to showcase these outdoor rooms that are truly meant for living in. While the weather in Southern California certainly lends itself to year-round outdoor living, homes in all environments can benefit from this design style. And check out the designers on the tour.

I spy with my little eye something beginning with 'clone stamp'...

Crack needles... ooops! Gotta type slower and catch up on my junkie lingo.

CORRECTION: Junkie crack pipes and heroine spoons.

My sincerest apologies!

Just goes to show how distracting bad Photoshop is. In trying to hide something, they've only brought more attention to it.
