Tell us about your outdoor project and how you enjoy it: The house gets really hot in the summer so this is the defacto living room for many months of the year. This was a total bargain space - kmart furniture, reclaimed planters and some craigslist and Ikea accents.
How did you create it? The space really created itself....it was pretty clear what would work and what wouldn't....all that I did was maximize the space for relaxation and added containers for herbs and a meyer lemon tree since the patio is right off the kitchen. The other planters with the tiger's tail create a screen to obscure the driveway.

Looks like it smells good too, in the late afternoon after the herbs have been sitting in the sun all day. Yum.
