"A close up look at how we live." There's an interesting project going on this week (Sept 17-23,2007), and you're invited to participate! We received an email from IKEA (who is partnering on the project) about "America at Home". From the release, it says, "For seven days, everyone in America is invited to join 100 of the nation's leading photojournalists to capture "the emotions of home." The goal of the project is to capture the extraordinary diversity that makes up American Family life, representing a broad range of economic, geographic, racial, politcal, and socially diverse lifestyles."

Every day, participants will receive "daily assignments" on a specific theme. Participants simply upload their photos via HP's Snapfish, and the images will be stored in a free photo storage account. After the shoot, In the end, your image could be selected for a coffee table book, website, and exhibition. It will be interesting to see the results! Click here for all the details and info.

Sweet! I'll be sure to represent the "disaffected yuppie" demographic.

I'll represent the broke artist demographic--I'll pose it front of my Pax wardrobe (Ikea).

Maybe I should leave my Work-In-Progress clutter around to truly show my status.
