Blogging MetHome: February 07

011807methome.jpgEven though we're in the thick of a chilly January, the February '07 issue of Metropolitan Home had lots to warm your imagination. The first thing that caught our eye was the cover's mention of a tour (pg 94) inside Todd Oldham's colorful house. As one might expect, Todd's house is an eclectic mix of old and new, tied together with fun color combinations. We especially love how he covered an entire wall with great framed bird prints by Charley Harper.

Oldham also had a great idea of placing his flatscreen tv (pg 99) on a picture shelf right alongside other paintings, blending in with the artwork.

Other pages of inspiration include:

pg 34-40: COLORWAYS: "White Out Loud"

pg 66: Met Home of the Month- Designer Kelly Hoppen's London swanky London Home

pg 80: A "white open space" by designers Wolf & Rogal
