Next weekend is CA BOOM 4! CA BOOM is "the west coast independent design show." It will be held March 30 through April 1, 2007. There are a bunch of new things happening at the show, but the biggest is that this year, it will be held at the much larger Barker Hanger, at the Santa Monica Airport. Over one hundred participating exhibitors will showcase what's next in how we live and how we work. It will be divided into several specific areas including: Prefab, indoor/outdoor living, fine furnishings, surfaces and finishes, building accessories, giftware and accessories, and modern parenting. There's also a great deal with Modernism magazine happening if you hurry...

Whoohoo! I can finally go this year! I'm excited to start coveting.
I will be attending and hope to hookup with other East Coast Apt. Therapy devotee's. Question is, and please don't think me lame, is it worth taking a day trip out to Palm Springs for a mecca to mid-century design?
Chris:
YES it is totally worth it to take the day trip out to Palm Springs! But there is plenty to se in LA proper if you don't have enough time for the drive.
