Put it in your calendar: CA Boom 3 is coming in March.
The 3 1/2 day event is a great way to see “cutting edge contemporary design & architecture". There are house tours and seminars as well, so check out the website and get yer tickets.
We went last year, and while it is in no way the Javits Center in its scope, it is definitely worth checking out.

I went last year and was a little dissapointed.
Hopefully there will be more vendors this year.
I do suggest going to the opening night party.
Turquoise. Can you recommend similar events (that are better, of course) that are geared as much to consumers as well as to the trade? The NeoCon West event Alec posted earlier looks promising, but is it a trade-only kind of thang? Know of any events that are open to the general public, too?
Hi. Just checkin' in (didn't see a recent open thread). Have to brag about the glorious day we've had in the Bay Area. Warm. Clear blue skies. Flocks of robins going crazy with joy. Deciduous magnolias bursting their furry little pyjamas. New white linen duvet cover on my bed. Still have the Xmas quilt there but tomorrow it's blue silk.
ebrown. Unseasonably warm down here in La Leezy also. Spent the morning strolling the Hollywood Farmer's Market, picking up organic fruits and veggies for the week...
Enrique- PDC has lots of lectures coming up - most of them scheduled during the day.
Going to Vegas at the end of the month for the gift/furniture show with a friend of my mine who is opening a showroom next month.
If I hear of any thing else I will post it...promise!
