CB2 To Open In LA?

081808_cb2.jpgWe reported way back in November that CB2 was looking for a space in LA. Well, it looks like we might be one step towards getting a CB2 all to ourselves:

Racked Los Angeles is reporting that "CB2 has signed a Letter of Intent to move into the old Virgin Megastore space" at Sunset and Crescent Heights. CB2, the lower priced little sister to Crate and Barrel has tons of great modern furnishings and home decor with more quality than Ikea but hardly more expensive.

Pretty thrilling. When we were in New York we hit up the CB2 and came away with some vases and glasses (it was all we could fit into tour suitcase) so we'd love to be able to walk with something substantially larger.

Are you excited? or Eh?

Ooh, I'd be very excited if LA wasn't 12 hours away! If only they'd go to Portland next...

i don't think this is true. rumors of a cheesecake factory going in that space are still looming as they too have written a "letter of intent".
