Dwell has lined up a great itinerary of activities including cocktail receptions at key design landmarks, such as the new Hotel Zoso, the highly noted "Desert House" pre-fab home of Leo Marmol of Marmol Raddziner Prefab, and the famous John Lautner Elrod House. There will be in-depth conversations about "Visions of Utopia", the "Future of Desert Architecture", and a very special discussion entitled "Desert Modernism", which will include some of the architects that helped create Palm Springs as the mecca it is. Dwell is also now offering a new conference ticket and architecture tour ticket for this event. The Modern Seaker Ticket, costing $195, will include a ticket for the Dwell Design Conference, as well as the Modern Sunday Explorer pass. The Modern Sunday Explorer pass, costing $40, will include shuttle access, a self guided Architecture tour with Map and Guide (produced specifically for Dwell) and more. Details for all tickets for Dwell on Design can be found here. Check it out if you can make it!
