ElleDecor: What's Hot!

02-14-elle-blue-plates.jpgFinally! Our Elle Decor came in the mail, and while it's a slim month for sure, there is still plenty to drool over. Here's what the magazine thinks is Hot! this month.

New Wedgwood china pattern by Robert Dawson, who makes a classic new by blowing up details and placing them off center around the plates.

The Magazine compares this stunning gold-plated, cast-bronze Appliqué Iris by Objet Insolite($832) to Jean Cocteau's "hand-holding" sconces in his film La Belle et la Bete. We think these are a lot less scary.

With glass-blown lamps everywhere these days, it's hard to imagine any of them looking new, but then comes along these funky glass lamps from Conran's. They come with up to three "bubbles", and the shade is glass, too!

02-14-elle-red-table-.jpgThe plywood-topped metal Strut table from Blu Dot ($1199) is sleek and simple. Powder-coated in a glossy red, this table measures 90" long, so there is plenty of room for a big stylish family affair.

yes! I love those wedgewood plates--I've been looking for them since I saw them in the times maybe a year ago--I couldn't find them on the wedgewood site at the time.
