Goodbye LA Times Thursday Home Section

073108_homesection.jpgOne disappointed reader sent us a picture of the last ever LA Times Thursday Home Section. Although the Times will be publishing a revamped Home Section on saturdays, but for a lot of us a thursday morning ritual is done. What do you think of the LA Times changing things up (along with a lot of other changes)? How many of you read a 'real paper' rather than just reading it online? Will you replace it with something else?

That was the only redeeming section in the LA Times for me. Now I truly have no use for the Times except to clean my windows.

Welcome to the new economy. I will miss reading the LA Times home section at my coffee shop every Thursday. We noticed that the Sunday Magazine stopped coming a couple of months ago too. What's next?

The magazine's coming back, in an allegedly bigger way. The Home section was a little thin as a standalone, but they could have combined it with Real Estate, but of course, dumped both.

But the Home section was a fairly new addition--it used to be part of the Style section for years.
