Heath Ceramics Coming to LA

We got a tip from LAist that Heath Ceramics is planning to open a showroom in LA. We couldn't be more excited about having the classic ceramics so close to home:

Heath has been making classic hand crafted ceramics since the mid 40's out of their factory in Sausalito and now they plan to open their second (ever!) showroom in LA. In partnership with Atwater Pottery they'll offer not only a retail space but a gallery and studio "that will focus on ceramic research and small run, custom work."

The showroom at 7525 Beverly Boulevard (at Sierra Bonita) plans to open in December. We can't wait. Are you excited? Do you have vintage Heath pieces? Do you collect Heath? Will you start now?
