IKEA Summer 2008 Collection

032408ikeasummer.jpgFor all of you Angelenos, we hope you got a chance to enjoy the incredible weather this weekend! Didn't it feel like summer? Well, even though it's still Spring, IKEA is already dreaming of warmer days and have released their new Summer 2008 Collection...032408ikeasummer2.jpg

Over the weekend, we got a chance to browse it at our local IKEA in Costa Mesa. They've brought back a lot of the old favorites, but we're really loving a lot of the new textile prints. There's some fun lantern variations and we always look forward to seeing what new planters they have. Check out the Summer 2008 collection here. See anything you like? The gardening bag looks like it would make a nice super-sized reusable shopping bag.

i actually have the gardening bag and use it as a laundry basket. it is perfect b/c it takes up no storage space, as opposed to most laundry baskets. you can flatten this out and store it pretty much anywhere. i've also thought it could make an attractive recycling container.

those lanterns would be wonderful in my backyard. We have a tree with relatively low branches that they would look lovely on.
