Her sunny aesthetic is perfectly in line with life in Los Angeles and her mid century leanings fit even better. We love the sillhouette of her new chairs and sofas and love the simplicty of her magazine holder. The downer is that the line is only available (at the moment) through British retailer Heal's. And even then, they leap right over what we'd be able to afford. Still, we can drool and find inspiration in her color combinations (like that incredible red/orange with the olive green, the bursts of white and hints of yellow all on a walnut backdrop).
What do you think of her line?

OK so this is really nice, but like so many other contemporary creations its just copied from mid-century scandinavian pieces, stereotypically imitated and remixed. Isn't it just as expensive to buy period furnishings, and, I dunno, new original pieces from today instead?

Holy Crap - That chair is 1395 British Pounds...
...that's @ $2000! And the end table is @ $700!
This makes Room and Board look cheap.

As inspiration, this is fun.
Like the embroidered hand towels that cost about $20.00--I could make those. In fact I have a whole bunch of DMC floss lying around and some boring white washcloths with that type of border that's perfect for stitching.
It's hard to find modern looking embroidery designs, but these look fun and easy.

Most of those piece are just a rip off of mid-60's design. And at those prices I'd rather have the vintage stuff. Not to mention better quality.
