The LA times has a cool article confirming what we all already knew: Oxo products rock.
While we have always had trouble with their carrot peeler, the article talks about the company’s devotion and commitment to making and improving on kitchen products. Oxo seems really psyched about the salad spinner they are perfecting, which they say is so good looking, it will be able to be used to serve the salad as well.
My current salad spinner is OXO and it's great. If they can improve it, they're geniuses.
I love the OXO carrot peeler. Before I bought one, my solution to peeling things was to take the Health Nut position that Skins Are Good For You. That approach works okay for well-scrubbed potatoes, but not so well for carrots and parsnips.
