Love him or hate him, Frank Gehry has been busy changing the architectural landscape of downtown Los Angeles, notably with the recent unveiling of a $750 million development project on Grand Avenue that will include hundreds of new lofts, apartments and condominiums, to be completed by 2009.

The Sydney Pollack documentary Sketches of Frank Gehry releases locally on 5/19, possibly revealing more insight of what we should expect from our city’s patron saint architect. Looks fascinating.
