Septmeber is Adornment Month! This is our last week of Adornment Month, as we look forward to next month's official launch into the annual Fall Colors contest! We're accepting entries now, and will continue to until October 15th. Click here for the official contest page with rules and all the info. Speaking of adornment, AT:LA reader Sparklerawk tagged this flickr photo of how she's "adorned" her refrigerator (read her humorous explanation here), which leads us to ask:

Thanks to Sparklerawk for tagging her photo with "apartmenttherapyla"- Tag your pictures or email us at "la (at) apartmenttherapy (dot) com" and share with us what you've been doing!

Fridges feel like messy tabletops after they get too much stuff.

I would adorn my fridge with that bachelor photo, though...it would probably prevent me from sticking unheathy food into my mouth. On second thought, it wouldn't work since I have a "bachelor" fridge--it holds nothing but liquid goods.

Mine somehow ended up with a collection of photos of all my friends' and family members' pets - surrogate nieces and nephews, I guess.

I've broken my rule about No Refrigerator Stuff by clipping pot holders to the current fridge, as there's nowhere else to put them within easy reach of the range... but they're not visible unless you're actually in the kitchen, and if you're in there, you probably need the pot holders.

I have 4-5 magnets on the side of the fridge, but nothing in front of it. I really don't like fridge clutter much.

A blow-up of a photo I took this summer (a closeup of a bee on a sunflower), two pieces of Chinese brushstroke-type art featuring cats, and a couple of silver clip-magnets to hold my current favorite hat and my housekeys. To hold things up, I love the colorful "pushpin" magnets (see http://www.officemax.com/max/solutions/product/prodBlock.jsp?BV_UseBVCookie=yes&prodBlockOID=1611532405&expansionOID=-536905757 ). Pretty, fairly strong for their size, and inexpensive. They look great on a white refrigerator!

I used to hang tons of pictures etc. on my fridge, but went "minimalist" this summer, and I'm a lot happier with it.

I have a child, so occasionally there will be artwork, report cards or sports schedules on display. Other than that I really prefer a a blank fridge.

I'm with Eve,
The magnets are there to hang things on the door, but nothing ever gets hung.
