Spain's Hotel Gehry

We stumbled onto a fantastic dream website today by luxury publishing giants Assouline called luxuryculture.com. A site that houses the best of their best publications with their tag line is "Sharing the art of living well" which, though we're not dealing with the same deck, we can appreciate.

One piece that was interesting which we had not heard about is Frank Gehry's first attempt at hotel design for Le Marques de Riscal Hotel in Spain's historic wine producing region Rioja, Spain 75 miles from Bilbao - which you may have heard a little about wink, wink.

The 74,000 sq. ft property will house La Cuidad del Vino or the City of Wine pictured above, cashing in on the regions notorious wine reputation, along with a Michelin starred chef, on site cooking school, wine bar, rooftop lounge and of course a spa. In case you were wondering there are 43 rooms and 11 suites.

The hotel is part of the Starwood Hotel line and is set to open this fall according to the site. We know you were looking for a cooking school to attend this fall so here's a little kitchen to put on the list of possibilities.

If you're interested in seeing more of the property check out the Starwood Hotel site.

I really have to nothing to add, I just wanted to say that "Assouline" is a hysterical word.
I must be having a middle-school moment!
