We hope everyone had a happy Thanksgiving. We're still away (yay long weekend) staying up north with family. We're in the middle of the hilly countryside on a ranch enjoying some of the simple pleasures of time away from it all. Some of our favorite day-after Thanksgiving activities:
• Eating left-over pie for breakfast
• Staying in our jammies for most of the day
• Watching guilty pleasure movies with our cousins (like Knocked Up)
• Climbing in a tree house
• Taking a walk in the Fall air

I'm in week 4/5 of my Cure, so I painted a living room wall and finalized my paint choices for the bedroom, and tomorrow I'll be reorganizing our home office. I didn't realize this when I started, but I'm right in the time when I should be buying things. With Black Friday and the accompanying weekend, I couldn't have had worse timing. Online shopping, anyone?

I got married last week so we spent the rest of the weekend starting to sort thru 10 years of accumulated stuff (in both houses) and packing what will go into storage until we buy a new house, and what needs to go in the house. I've filled 2 large trash bags, and 3 large 'Out' boxes so far. Why was I keeping all that stuff??!!
