Wallpaper Magazine has named Patricia Urquiola Best Furniture Designer in their Feb. 06 issue.
The Magazine says of her work, "...with her colourful, unpretentious style, (Urquiola) single-handedly changed furniture trends. With each piece unashamedly grounded in the home, no wonder the furniture behemoths have taken to the Spaniard's practical, original designs."

Her furniture, including the sassy "Tufty-Time" sofa collection can be seen at B&B Italia.

The low backs and long cushions don't look comfortable, and I think a room with high ceilings needs 'taller' furniture.
How does someone even break into the furniture design industry?
