The new two story, 18,500 square-foot, William-Sonoma flagship furniture store is opening tonight (8772 Beverly Blvd., 310.289.2420).

We are curious to see what everything will look like up close.

The catalogue has some nice looking eye candy at very high prices. Is this just the next step up on the totem pole- above Restoration Hardware, but still below the high-end Beverly/Robertson neighbors that W.S. is trying to emulate?

The question is: You can take the furniture out of the catalogue, but can you take the catalogue out of the furniture?
