We love Jodi's sentiment that environment is everything--especially at work. We love to make our work surroundings fun and inspiring and find a kindred spirit in Jodi. Using more than one pop of color, the office is upbeat and lively. But not to worry, Jodi does a great job of keeping the space balanced with lots of white. It helps that she has organizing down pat with color coordinated inspiration binders and bins. Our favorite thing about Jodi's office has to be her oversized inspiration board. Postcards, inspirational thoughts and things to do "one day" all go up on the large board. That way, excess paper stays off her desk, leaving her space streamlined and efficient.

that is way cool! I wish my office where I work was that colorful! Color is so stimulating, especially to a creative mind.

I love that side board in the forth picture; it's just what I am looking for. Do you know where they are from?
Great office by the way.

I am in the middle of establishing my new office & would love to know where the sideboard/credeza/shelfy things came from, as well as the tall cart with drawer trays!

This is how to make all-IKEA look awesome. (cmelton: I'm pretty sure they're from the EFFEKTIV line of custom office cabinets.)

I'm so happy this is inspiring your work spaces! "Natomaton" is correct, the credenza is the EFFECTIV modular system from IKEA. The cart with the drawers you can find at thecontainerstore.com. The one on the right was Crate and Barrel but they stopped making it. Enjoy!

Fabulous office space Jodi, and wonderful blog! I just spent a happy hour leafing back through your entries (more please!). It's so nice to see ikea stuff looking so fabulous, so many people seem to turn their noses up at it but you have proved it can look fantastic. Could you please tell me where you got the little white lamp that is on the floor next to the chair? It is just adorable.

Dare I say, the lamp on the floor is also from IKEA—not sure if they still sell it? I did a lot of IKEA in my office because it's a little more utilitarian than my living space. Also, I needed to offset the cost of my growing collection of mid-century pieces like Nelson lamps and original 50's Danish teak furniture. Basically, we need to offset the immediate needs with what we are trying to collect as heirlooms.

Aha! I *thought* that lamp looked like something I once saw at ikea! Thanks Jodi :-)
