Zoey's Gray (With Hints of Yellow) Workspace

One of our all-time favorite colors to wear is gray. So it doesn't surprise us in the least that gray rooms inspire us and make us want a gray room of our own. We spotted Zoey's sunny and organized studio and had to share...

Because gray can sometimes read muted and bland without the help of some color, Zoey uses hints of yellow and silver to make the space feel crisp and refreshing. Using a floral sweater draped over a chair and a yellow tin for holding rolled paper, the office space reads chic and fun. Silver canisters on open shelving help Zoey stay organized and a cozy chair in the corner adds extra warmth to her home office space.

I just painted my living room and hallways in Glidden Silver Fox, and have an accent wall in Behr's Lemon Pound Cake. I love this color combination.

I too would like to know what paint color/brand was used in this room. I love the light grey and yellow combo and I plan to use it in one of the rooms of my new house but I'm afraid of getting the wrong shade of grey.

I love this combo and this room but I would like to see it without the sweater on the back of the chair. If it were my space I would add a bit more (permanent) yellow for balance.

Thanks for the feedback, everyone! I'm so into the gray and yellow combination right now and I love having a splash of yellow in every room. The paint is Glidden's "Eastern Lighthouse". It has just the slightest hint of green in it. The table was a DIY, courtesy of my darling husband.

The floor lamp was purchased from Bombay Kids, which shut down about a year and a half ago. It was originally sold with an awful pink and green lamp shade that I switched out for a simple white paper lantern from World Market.
