Nuts. I got all excited until I went to the website and saw they only work for mini-blinds...I have vertical blinds in my apartment. :-( Anybody have an idea for those? Maybe some kind of DIY?

When I was a kid growing up in US Military Base Housing, the thng to do was to fill all the holes in the walls with Colgate toothpaste...

Even if the hook holds up, there could be damage from the extra weight on the blinds. We have had less-than-securely mounted blinds in several apartments. They sometimes came off the window just from being raised and lowered! I would be afraid to add more weight.
We put holes in the walls and spackle, spackle, spackle when we leave.

yeah, I just punch the holes, they're easy to fix. LOL @ the Colgate! They do have spackle in cute tubes like that now just for filling holes that way, though.
To tell the truth, though, I'm a little dubious about the sheetrock's ability to hold up the drapes, too.

The previous tenant of my old apartment used toothpaste to fill holes, though I'm pretty sure she didn't use standard colgate, and used some gel or something. It was disgusting -- the walls smelled minty and were sticky to the touch in places the holes used to be.
