Did anyone see the unveiling of the new Santa Monica ferris wheel the other night? It's better than the old one (which they sold on ebay!). All solar-powered, but it looks like a Laserium light show -- ahhh... gives me flashbacks... er, wait, I mean... makes me feel nostalgic......

Agh, I love the pic of my hometown! I'm currently living in San Diego County- I still get to visit my parents and friends that live all over Orange and Los Angeles counties... they've said nothing's new up there, except for the price of gas:) lol I know, sad attempt at a joke huh?

my parents moved outside of Palm Springs from LA.they don't have as big a garden as they did in LA. So, I wanted to get him at least 2 meyer lemon trees for fathers day. Does anyone know where I can purchase them? And would anyone know if they would survive in the desert? Thanks.

Aggie— I grew up in Barstow and we had cherry, peach, and apple trees. The apples weren't as large as the genetically engineered ones bought at the store, but over the fruit was pretty good.

I can't wait to go see the new Pier ferris wheel! My mom worked in the squirt-a-clown-head-booth while she was preggers with me! My dad worked in the crab shak. haha!
Also, the new DOMINO sucked this month! I only liked three or four pages out of the whole thing. and somehow, i missed last months!

I want to paint my apartment with Lime Paint or clay paint, has anyone ever used those before? I have an old spanish style place with plaster-ish walls. Some dork seemingly tossed glossy eggshell on the walls! yuk! plus the paint is uneven and goopey in places.
