If there's enough coffee in the world (which seems doubtful right now), we're tackling the back end of the living room closet this morning.
It looks tidy, but it's overdue for re-evaluating what's there.
SF Chronicle ran an article today on how Seattle people cope better with perpetual rain than we whiners do. Turns out the answer is anti-depressants and strong liquor.

I don't know wende, I've got buckets of both of those and I could still stand to see a few days of sunshine.
This weekend is devoted entirely to doing nothing, getting exactly nothing done. Oh thank goodness! But I am also hosting my annual Easter Jesus Christ Superstar sing-a-long tomorrow, I should probably tidy up the house at least a little :)

I swear, one more week of rain, and I'm going to start playing Xmas music and putting up the nativity scenes...
At least the back end of the living room closet looks fabulous now.

Having awakened to pouring rain, I bullied the husband into using his frequent flyer miles to let me join him in Phoenix this week. 82 degrees and sunny, here I come!

Alec: You should check out what Jon from OC has been up to... He recently did a moderately-budgeted "While You Were Out" type of overhaul of his parents' stuck-in-the-'80s, haute high-tech Asian living room. And he blogged the entire process on his new blog! It totally deserves it's own thread on the AT:LA site. http://www.happymundane.com/

Michelle, of Venice Loft fame, do you need the Sony PSP to get the wireless tv to work?

Side bar question:
Is there a rule of thumb for the size of overhead lights in a room? I know there is for chandeliers, is it the same for say a drum shade?
Thanks in advance!
