Does anyone know of a good convertible sofa website? I'm looking for a stylish sofa that easily transforms into a bed - but I don't want a futon and no boxspring/coil fold out mattress.

Under $1000 would be nice since we're moving in a year or two and won't be taking it with us. I'd invest more if it wasn't going to ultimately end up on craigslist.

Would love something in a salt + pepper gray cotton or wool like the color the DWR Logo is available in.

Any ideas?

Does anyone know and can recommend a good handy man? Or anyone that does custom doors on the cheap side. I converted a hallway into a closet and need to put up some closet doors. I was thinking of using the Pax wardrob system through IKEA. Any thoughts?>

Holly. This option is not nearly as graceful-looking as the Logo. But it's $500, has a similar fold-down mechanism as the Logo, and comes in either black or red. http://www.plummersfurniture.com/?page=shop/flypage&page_back=shop/category_items&offset=0&product_id=828&category_id=7a7b7fd56cdb0ace8aa2d568aa79c202

PS to Holly. I think you'd be able to get a pretty good return on the Plummers sofa when it came time to sell it on Craigs List...

Sparky (love the name!) and Enrique, thank you so much for the links. I really appreciate it. I had never heard of plummer's so I'm pretty excited about this - I'm heading straight over to the site to view their selection.

hey holly-
plummers is only in so cal, but they have the same store in different parts of the county, just different names- it also goes by Dania (IL), and Scandanavian Designs (northern cal)
if you go to any of their store locations page, at the bottom, there are links to their other stores. unfortunately they don't have online sales. there was actually a thread about this on the AT:SF site-

Has anyone had experience with Plycon Transportation? I've checked their website and see that they blanket-wrap furniture AND are a member of the American Society of Interior Designers. So, they seem reputable... I'd love to hear some feedback from anyone who's used them about their quality of service and pricing. [I'm thinking about buying furniture from an out-of-town source; and this service seems like the best option.]
